How to request material through Library Loan
The Library Catalog offers the option to request a title through library loan directly from the catalog. This is quick and convenient if the title exists in our catalog (meaning the information has already been pre-loaded into our system). If the title is not found in the catalog, follow these steps to request the title through Library Loan:
2. Click the 9-square tile icon to the right of Asbury Connect logo
3. Click on B.L. Fisher Library from the drop down menu
4. On the right side of the page, click on Services
5. Select Library Loan from the drop down menu
6. Click on the "Create New Request" button
7. Choose the type of request you would like to make (article, book, book chapter, etc.)
8. Fill in the form with as much information as you can, including any notes/directions you might have
Library Loan books from other libraries check out for 3 - 6 weeks with the possibility of 2 renewals. Remember to allow at least 7-10 business days for title to arrive at the library (longer if it's a special copy)
