Enable UAC

Verify your User Access Control Settings in Windows

  1. Click on the blank Search window and type in Control Panel and hit enter.

  2. Click on System and Security

  3. Under Security and Maintenance, Click on Change User Account Control Settings

  4. Click on Yes if prompted

  5. The slider should be set to the 3rd option from the bottom of the scale.

  1. After selecting that option, click on OK to confirm your choice.

  2. Click on Yes if prompted.  

  3. You will need to restart your computer to have the new setting made live.
